8) The File Viewer
The File Viewer is one of the most flexible of all. You can use it to open virtually any file, including PowerPoint Presentations (PPS), Adobe PDF files, Web Pages (HTML), Programs (EXE) and more. Opening a file with the File Viewer has the same effect as double-clicking on a file, enabling you to open documents from your CD. In the screenshot below a PDF file is being opened.

The Failsafe Program is a feature unique to AutoRun Typhoon. Using this feature you can ensure your customers will be able to view your files, even if they don't have the proper software installed. You simply provide the installer program (in the screenshot below, the installer for Adobe Acrobat is being used because a PDF file is being opened) and AutoRun will launch the installer program if the user can't open your file.

The Failsafe Viewer is basically a project-wide Failsafe Program. For example, if you are opening several PDF files in your project, you would use the Failsafe Viewer to ensure the user has Acrobat installed instead of providing a Failsafe Program for each PDF file you open.
